Public transportation in Puerto Rico can be unreliable-- you might want to rent a car. Remember to drink lots of water, always carry some cash, bring a small umbrella, mosquito repellent, sun block with spf 50+ and a smart phone with GPS to help you get around. One last thing to remember: No matter what you do, there will be sweat, everywhere, all over, always... And it will be fine.
